Elsewhere in the world: The National Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has declared the suspension of charges on bank stores by clients.

This was declared by the Legislative leader of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele, during an extraordinary press preparation on Wednesday in Abuja.

As per the CBN lead representative, this influences cash and electronic stores of the Naira to the tune of N150,000.

“Bank charges (on stores) have been suspended. What we have right currently is that assuming you pay N150,000 into your record, you don’t cause charges, yet in the event that you pay more than N150,000, you pay the charges,” he said. “This implies it doesn’t restrict you from paying N10 million or N1 billion into your record. Mainly, you will pay for cash handling for stores above N150,000.
